The eligible candidates will then have to appear for JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) exam.

Anna University offers various engineering degree courses to students at undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) levels. Candidates that have cleared class XII exams have to appear in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) for admissions in these courses of the university.

6. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram
IIST offers various undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) level courses to its students. Only Indian citizens are eligible for admission in this college. Candidates can apply if they have secured minimum aggregate marks in their Class 12 Board exams or equivalent examination.

7. Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur
VNIT is a public engineering and research institute in India. Tech) is done through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains.

PSGCT is a private engineering college that is affiliated to Anna University. In this college undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes are offered in various disciplines of engineering. Candidates for the undergraduate program are chosen on the basis of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) and counselling.

9. Jamia Millia Islamia
The university offers various BE/ B. Tech, ME/M. Tech and research programmes to its engineering aspirants. To take admission in this college, aspirants need to first fill JEE Main application along with JMI application form.

10. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad
JNTU-H is one of India's leading educational universities focusing on engineering. The college offers B. Tech program in over 20 fields. Admission in this college is through counselling based on the candidates’ rank obtained in Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS-ECET).
