About Miranda House
Miranda House is a constituent women’s college of the University of Delhi, founded in 1948 by Sir Maurice Gwyer, then Vice-Chancellor of DU. It sits on a roughly 25-acre red-brick campus on DU’s North Campus, and is one of the very few Indian colleges that teaches the humanities, social sciences and the basic sciences at equal depth rather than specialising in one.

Eligibility: Only outstation undergraduate students are eligible. Students whose parents reside in NCT Delhi, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida or Ghaziabad cannot apply.
Allotment: Strictly on academic merit, course-wise, using the same criteria as course admission. The seat is withdrawn if the student changes her course of study.
Includes Wi-Fi, common rooms, laundry, 24x7 security and medical support. A late fee of ₹5 per day applies after the due date, and dues pending beyond 30 days can result in loss of the hostel seat.
Admission
The process runs in four steps:
1. Register for and appear in CUET UG, conducted by the National Testing Agency, choosing the subject combination required for your intended course.
2. Once results are declared, register on the DU CSAS portal and submit your preferences for colleges and programmes in order of priority.
3. DU releases round-wise allocation lists based on your CUET score, category and preference order.
4. If allotted a seat, complete document verification and online fee payment within the stated window.
